Betting!!!?

how do i place a bet i dont understand what 2/1 means and all the other stuff. for example celtic is playing this weekend (away against ict) and the odds for ict to get a home win is 6/1 the odds for a draw is 3/1 and for celtic to win is 4/11. for example if i wanted to put a £1 (im not a cheapscape just trying to keep it simple) celtic to win how much would i get back and so on.

1. £1@ 4/11 you win 36 pence+1.00 total return 1.36....4/11 means for every £11 you put on you win £4
2. Take the second number (11 in the case of 4/11), add it to the first number (4). This gives you 15/11. Multiply this by your stake money.... £1 x 15/11 = £1.36.

5. if you put a quid on at say 3 to 1 and they win you would win 3 quid plus your stake back
